Action for Earth Toolkit

At the Science Museum, we're working to move the climate conversation beyond awareness to action. In addition to conducting research that provides insight into the world around us and how it has changed over millennia, we have implemented powerful energy-efficiency measures to dramatically reduce our carbon emissions, and we're on track to achieve carbon neutrality by 2030.

During the 2024 Action for Earth campaign (April 8 through June 1), the Science Museum is bringing together a series of programs, events, and resources to help visitors explore climate change's impact on our daily lives.

Action for Earth includes experiences like Omnitheater movies that explore our planet and well beyond, special events celebrating Earth Day and the last total solar eclipse until 2044, a gallery of artwork that explores the intersection of nature and science from Pine Needles artists-in-residence at the St. Croix Watershed Research Station, our annual Science Celebration, online resources, sustainable shopping in the Explore Store, and more.
