STORMS ON STAGE Science Live Performance

About this Experience

Big Weather Experience

January - March, 2020

Thursdays and Fridays

Ideal for grades three through eight.

Weather’s a hot topic of conversation in Minnesota, and it’s an important topic in our classrooms, too.

Bring the science of weather to life for your students: book your chance to see Storms on Stage in the Auditorium! Free with your field trip, Storms on Stage is an interactive Science Live theater program that demonstrates the scientific principles involved in the formation of a storm cloud, lightning, thunder and other weather phenomena.

Visit the museum’s weather exhibits
Students will experiment with a one-story-tall tornado model, observe warm and cold air fronts colliding, investigate high and low pressure computer models, and more through self-directed, exhibit hall learning experiences.
