Bag, Carrying

A bag made from a woven white cotton ground cloth decorated with wool brocade. The wool used to weave the brocade has been naturally dyed rust, yellow, green, black and purple using vegetable dyes. The brocading includes both geometric and figure designs. A black drawstrip is attached to the opening of the bag to pull it closed. This bag was woven on a backstrap loom.
