Strategic Plan 2030

Dear friends,

As the Science Museum of Minnesota looks to the future, we ask ourselves big questions. What is a museum today? Who is it for? And how does it engage with the communities it serves?

We are guided by our Strategic Plan 2030 —a plan that envisions what we want to become in the next decade. Together, we commit to meeting the changing needs of the communities we serve by delivering bold science through memorable science learning experiences; building pathways to STEM careers starting in early childhood; and conducting groundbreaking research that is changing what we know about the most critical issues of today—issues like climate change, human identity, and sustainability of food, energy, and water.

We develop and deliver our programming with this plan and its goals in mind, and we’re testing ideas, experimenting, and finding new ways to put those goals into action.

Our work in inspiring the next generations with the power of STEM has never been more relevant. We’re on our way to transforming what a museum is to this remarkable community.

Thank you for being a part of this transformation.
