Scouts

Lee and Rose Warner Nature Center, Minnesota's oldest private nature center, is located in northern Washington County and offers a wide variety of program opportunities for scouts of all ages. Check out our pre-planned Scout Days, or contact our Outreach Naturalist about scheduling your troop's own program. Custom programs can be set up on other dates and based on various topics listed below.

Scout Days

Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts can register for these programs as a fun troop field trip or to fulfill a badge.

Maple Syrup and Trees

March means maple syrup madness at Warner! We will learn about the process of making the tasty treat and maple syruping history. We'll also hike through our sugar bush, do a taste test, and make a craft. Open to any scout troop. Register in advance. $7/child.

Saturday May 9, 2015, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Geocaching

Adventure out onto Warner's trails using GPS units in search of a geocache! First, learn about geocaching, and how to use a GPS unit. Make an item to trade at a cache. Open to any scout troop. Junior Girl Scouts can earn their Geocacher badge. Register in advance. $7/child.
