After welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors this past year, it's time for the Science Museum to take a break! During our annual September Shutdown from Monday, September 9 through Friday, September 20, the museum will be closed so that our maintenance and technical crews can do some deep–cleaning and fine-tuning to keep our signature science learning experiences in peak condition.
We'll re-open a polished and tuned up museum on Saturday, September 21. We're looking forward to a fantastic fall season, with favorites like Sportsology, Object ID Day, the Collectors' Corner, and the beloved Boo-ology Halloween event. And look for brand new features like BODY WORLDS Rx, Social Science: Spooky Science, and the grand re-opening of the all-digital William L. McKnight-3M Omnitheater with Superpower Dogs!
