St. Croix River Research Rendezvous

Register for the 2023 Research Rendezvous by September 26, 2023.

2023 Research Rendezvous Program [tentative]

Since 1989, the St. Croix Research Rendezvous brings together scientists, resource managers, and interested citizens to share and learn about research conducted in the St. Croix River Watershed. Presentation topics span numerous subjects, including water quality, ecology, resource management, and climate resiliency. This day-long, in-person conference is held in October within the St. Croix River Valley.

In partnership with the Wild Rivers Conservancy, we are excited to announce the St. Croix Research Rendezvous is returning in person in 2023! The rendezvous will be held at The Acreage at Osceola on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Parking, refreshments, and lunch are included with registration. Submissions for presentation abstracts are accepted starting June 1; registration opens in September.

For more information on the St. Croix Research Rendezvous, please contact Alaina Fedie at afedie@smm.org or (651) 433-5953 ext. 12.

The Wild Rivers Conservancy of the St. Croix and Namekagon is the official nonprofit partner of the St. Croix National Scenic Riverway. Together with the National Park Service and many conservation partners, they work to protect and restore important natural and scenic areas through land conservation, protect and improve water quality, engage citizens through educational, recreational, and volunteer activities, and celebrate the natural beauty and wonder that is the St. Croix River Watershed. “We love this place and celebrate that love at every opportunity.”

Located on 360 acres of woodland and prairie habitat along the bluffs of the St. Croix River, The Acreage at Osceola embodies the vision and legacy left by Horst Rechelbacher, founder of Aveda and Intelligent Nutrients. This historic property now serves as a model for sustainable conservation methods, a center for land and water stewardship, a place to learn, and a gathering space for creatives, visionaries, and changemakers.
