Plugged In

You’ve arrived at the Science Museum’s news-sharing hub. Here, you can dig in to the many projects underway at the museum that touch us here in Minnesota—and around the world. You’ll find that the Science Museum is much more than a museum—it’s an innovator in education and leadership programs, an advocate for equity and inclusion, an active research facility, an out-of-school home for an inspiring generation of future STEM leaders, an event destination for all ages, and much, much more.

So plug in to the ways that the Science Museum is turning on the science in our community, our region, our nation, and our world. We’re glad you’re here!

A generous gift will add a member to our Science team

Roger and Barbara Brown honor their passion for research and education with a gift to endow a new position in the Science Museum's Science Division: The Barbara Brown Chair of Ornithology. This new scientist will study and build on the museum's existing bird collection and find new ways to share it with the public.
