Engineering is Elementary lets kids – and their teachers – experience the extraordinary wonders of engineering

It’s National Engineers Week, and we’re celebrating the huge success of a partnership with the Cargill Foundation that put the hands-on Engineering is Elementary® curriculum in the classrooms of thousands of kids around the metro. Building on this model, a renewed partnership will bring a new curriculum that builds critical computational thinking skills to Minnesota students.

This week, we celebrate Girls, Science, and Technology, a popular annual event with our partners at Fox 9. We don't focus on helping girls see themselves in science for just that one day, though. Volunteers like Petra Asani show visitors each and every day that girls can - and do - make a difference in science.
