The Human Body is best suited to school students ages five and above. It contains scenes of childbirth and a discussion of the topic of puberty. Teachers are encouraged to read more about the film below, watch the trailers or preview the film beforehand if they have any concerns about the suitability of the film for their students. The film is rated G and is very popular with schools.

Using innovative film techniques and the latest medical and scientific imaging, The Human Body showcases the ordinary miracles that keep our bodies running from morning till night. Field trip showings Tuesday-Friday at 10 a.m.

Planning Your Field Trip

  • The tickets are timed entry tickets, and advance reservations are necessary for school groups.
  • Pricing valid for PreK-12th grade school groups only.
  • The museum has special rates for teachers and chaperones, depending on ratio. (There can be no fewer than one chaperone for every 10 students.) Please ask when you call to make your reservation.
