Dinosaurs & Fossils Gallery

Face-to-face with Earth’s ancient inhabitants

In the Dinosaurs & Fossils Gallery, remnants from Earth’s past show life from the perspective of creatures big and small across millennia.

You’ll encounter hunters like Allosaurus as they chase other dinosaurs, massive plant-eaters like the Diplodocus standing at 80 feet long, and even tiny trilobites fossilized on the seafloor.

As you weave your way through hundreds of fossils, amber, petrified wood, dinosaur bones, and even coprolites, it’s easy to experience the world like a paleontologist does—as a place where every bone or bit of dirt could hold a huge discovery!

Giants of the past

It’s not easy to miss the big bones of our most famous resident dinosaurs. Make sure to stop and selfie with the Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Diplodocus, and Quetzalcoatlus.

Tiny but mighty

Creatures come in all shapes and sizes. And even the tiniest fossils, like Bambiraptor and 300-million-year-old ferns, have so much to tell us about life on Earth.
