Outreach programs have been hitting every corner of Minnesota for six years running!

Each of the past six years, Science Museum programs have reached students and educators in all 87 Minnesota counties, either through field trips to the museum or through outreach programs to communities across greater Minnesota. Our crew of experienced instructors hit the road in early September and travel to the far reaches of the state to deliver our signature brand of science fun and learning.

Engineering is Elementary lets kids – and their teachers – experience the extraordinary wonders of engineering

It’s National Engineers Week, and we’re celebrating the huge success of a partnership with the Cargill Foundation that put the hands-on Engineering is Elementary® curriculum in the classrooms of thousands of kids around the metro. Building on this model, a renewed partnership will bring a new curriculum that builds critical computational thinking skills to Minnesota students.

Local schools get the tools they need to share the power of Maker Spaces
