Here are some of the activities Play. Tinker. Make. presented on the museum floor on Day of Code!


Intro to Scratch
LinCT (Linking Educators, Youth, and Learners in Computational Thinking) crew at SMM introducing visitors to Scratch, an educational coding program.


Scratch Junior
LinCT crew members teaching visitors how to use Scratch Jr!


Recursive Triangles
Christopher Danielson getting people to think about recursive triangles.


LEGO Doodle
Visitors building linkages onto LEGO motors to create beautiful designs.


Programming Robots
Open World Learning LEGO League brought in some of their LEGO robots for visitors to program!

Hour of Code is a global movement to get people involved in coding ( Play. Tinker. Make. at the Science Museum decided to turn Hour of Code into a full day of coding! Different code-related activities were out on the museum floor, such as Scratch,, LEGO Doodle, Ozobots, and Turtle Art. Guest presenters Christopher Danielson (Math-On-A-Stick) and Open World Learning LEGO League also brought in activities for our visitors!
