How to Register

Thank you for your interest in a school field trip at the Lee & Rose Warner Nature Center. All visiting schools must register ahead of time. We cannot accommodate drop-in groups of students. Classes are very popular and we fill spaces one year in advance. In order to be considered for the 2012-2013 school year, we need to receive your completed registration form (and bus scholarship application if needed) by Friday, May 11, 2012.

Warner Nature Center continues to experience an increasingly high demand for our school programs. We are thrilled to have so many students and schools visiting Warner but recognize that not everyone is able to come out with wait lists every season for multiple schools. Thus, we are continuing with our lottery registration system to create a more efficient process and to ensure that more schools will be able to get their first or second preferences.

To ensure that all schools get either their first or second preference, schools who completed and turned in their registration forms by Friday, May 11 will be randomly selected and each will be given their preferred season and dates as space is available.

School Field Trip Requirements

• Schools need to visit for a minimum of four hours if they wish to take two classes.
• Schools visiting for fewer than four hours can sign up for one class, with additional time for hikes and exhibits.
• Minimum of 20 students (does not include adults) and maximum of 70 students per day.
• Groups cannot span more than two grade levels.
