Part-time/Hourly/Seasonal/Non-Exempt (24 hours/week or 48 hours/two weeks, maximum 40 hours/week). Position is located off-site in Marine on St. Croix, MN (20 minutes north of Stillwater). We are looking for an enthusiastic naturalist to work with audiences of all ages. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for delivering school, summer camp, outreach, family, scout, public and adult programs on an as needed basis. During school year, must be available for 3 days per week to teach weekday school programs and 2 weekend days per month. During summer, must be available to teach 3-4 weeklong Monday-Friday summer day camps. Responsible for raptor care and handling 1-3 times per month. Requirements: Minimum BS/BA or equivalent experience in natural sciences, wildlife, environmental education, and of Minnesota flora, fauna, and natural communities. Of primary importance is enthusiasm and desire to teach children outdoors. Prefer experience in raptor handling, experience working with volunteers and teaching children ages 4 through 14.
