WebelosOne of our most popular activities for Webelos at Warner Nature Center is working on the Naturalist pin. In this two-hour program, Webelos search the lake for aquatic macroinvertebrates such as dragonflies, giant water bugs and predaceous diving beetles. We discover what's hiding in the lake and try to sort out aquatic life into different categories, Your kids will never look at a lake the same way again! This incredible experience fulfills two requirements for the Naturalist pin. In winter months when the lake is frozen, Webelos can earn the naturalist pin by taking part in one of our exciting live raptor programs. Call for more details. If your den has fewer than 15 kids you pay a flat rate of $90 for this program. Groups over 15 in number pay just $6 per child. Webelos can also take part the the following exciting programs: Contact our Outreach Coordinator Kirk Mona at or (651) 433-2427 ext. 13 for more information or to book a program. |
