Winter Brrrds (Winter)
Who fluffs up downy feathers to stay warm in the winter? Birds, of course! Learn which Minnesota birds stay around all year. Meet a live raptor that stays around in the winter, and learn how to use binoculars by looking out the windows. Then, enjoy a winter hike. $90 for 12 boys or fewer. Additional participants pay a fee of $7.50/boy.

Track Detectives (Winter)
Investigate which forest animals stay active in the winter by looking for tracks outside, and making track art inside.

Fabulous Frogs (Spring)
Ever hear a loud racket coming from a nearby pond or wetland in the spring, but don't know who is making the sounds? Learn what frogs are calling in the springtime, and look for them on a hike outside.

Achievement #5: Sharing your World with Wildlife
Enjoy a visit from a live bird of prey! Warner takes care of a barred owl, red-tailed hawk, an American kestrel, and Eastern screech owl. This close-up experience with one of these birds is an excellent springboard to get your Bear Cubs excited about doing their posters for the requirements for this achievement. Then, your group will head out to explore Warner's trails. $90 for 12 boys or fewer. Additional participants pay a fee of $7.50/boy.
