Summer Camps - Toddler
AGES 2 AND 3 WITH A PARENT
Introduce young children, ages 2-3, to the natural world, while exploring at the nature center with a parent or guardian. Each class is organized around a theme and emphasizes active learning through sensory experiences, movement activities, and dramatic play. Children create with art materials, enjoy simple stories, and explore the great outdoors.

Week 1: June 22, 2009
Get out your garden gloves and your watering cans—it is time to start planting! Discover the life of a seed and how plants grow by starting your very own mini garden to take home. There will be plenty of digging in the dirt so make sure to wear your gardening clothes!

Where are all the animals hiding? Put on your detective hat, grab your binoculars, and get ready to explore the different habitats of Warner. Learn all about animal homes and what different animals need to live.
These classes meet from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday at Warner Nature Center. The same class is offered each day. The cost is $5.00 per child (or $8.00 for both weeks) and pre-registration is required.* If minimum enrollment is not met, classes will be cancelled. Each class incorporates indoor and outdoor activities in all types of weather. Wear casual clothing appropriate for the weather and hands-on activities.
