Acorn Adventures

Nature exploration for ages 1-4

Introduce young children to the natural world, while exploring at the nature center with a parent or guardian. Each program is organized around a monthly theme and emphasizes active learning through sensory experiences, movement activities, and dramatic play. Children create with art materials, enjoy simple stories, and explore the great outdoors.

Classes are offered once a month from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. or 11 a.m. - noon on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at Warner Nature Center. Mondays are specifically designed for 1-2 year olds, while Wednesdays and Fridays are designed for 3-4 year olds. Please consider this when signing up your child for classes.

Cost is $5 per child/$45 for all 9 classes or $8 per child for individual classes. Pre-registration is required. If minimum enrollment is not met, classes will be cancelled. Each class incorporates outdoor and indoor activities in all types of weather. Wear casual clothing appropriate for the weather and hands-on activities.
