By Goerge, I think it will work- resistors vs. graphite

Shorty after our time together at the Science House I went out to Radio Shack and bought a 500 piece variety bundle of resistors. Cost for the bundle was about $13.00. I used the sensor watcher and sure enough they are a lot easier than trying to get the graphite just right.

This week I plan to start to introduce the idea of resistance. I plan to do this as a whole group for now. We still need to get the drivers installed  for the boards on the machines the kids use and that will take until after winter break so they will not be able use the boards to experiment with until then. I am very excited to get the kids using the boards. I am sure once we do one project they will come up with lots of ideas.
