I'm so behind!

    As I was reading everyone's blog about their project(s), I'm feeling so behind.  I've been so busy trying to get classrooms and the lab up and running this school year that I haven't had much time to do anything else.  Being part-time this school year does not help either.
 
    I will be running a GT group and decided that we would work on SCRATCH.  Many of the GT kids have had two years of exposure to SCRATCH.  What I want to do with this group is for them to create an interactive game.  Depending on their level of skills and interest, I want to bring in the Scratch Boards.  At this point, I'm not sure what our focus will be.  The GT groups are being formed currently so depending who all will be in my group, what I was thinking was that I would wait to see who the students are before making a decision.  An idea I have is for them to create a game around a concept they are learning in the classroom or the science lab.  Being that part of my responsibility at Galtier is to focus on technology integration, I want to explore with this group how we can integrate SCRATCH.  My hope is to be able to showcase the end product to teachers in hopes of igniting interest in learning more about SCRATCH.
