Scratch Fall Project Brainstorm
At our last meeting we had a valuable brainstorm session about different project ideas that the teachers would like to try in their classroom using Scratch.  The teachers decided to focus on the area of an About Me project using artistic expression and a diagram with hotspots.

Storytelling
Animate a main character from a book (feeling, attitude, etc..)
Illustrate the plot of a story – or choose your own adventure
Animate a fable ...the moral of the story is...

Physical Interfaces

Electric dulcimer
Design/build a Scratch Interface
Create a 3D game controller

Public Service
Create a map of the classroom with hotspots
Safety lessons – bike, fire, internet
Create a project with someone else (peer, parent, etc…)
Productivity tools fro the school
Useful real-world project ie: to help out handicapped or elderly

Interactive diagram
Create a number board that is interactive
Create a graph that students can use for data collection
Create their own insect with labels of the correct parts
Make a diagram of a living organism
Creating a preferred environment
Use Scratch to teach your parent something
How to do something.. Create directions
