Innovative Teaching with Technology

In tonight's meeting we talked about how I had created classroom accounts for the teachers so that the kids could all post to one place and a teacher could link to the classroom SCRATCH site from their classroom web page.  Some of the tricks that I used are to have a classroom login name...I usually use the last name and the word class, for example schroederclass and then I give a password, usually the school name.  This way the kids all upload and share their projects to the same account so the teacher can have all the classroom projects in one place.  This can be a bit dangerous because this way each student could delete all the files or change other students projects.  A way to protect this is for the teacher to change the password when the project is done so that students can't change the finished projects.  I also have students share their project for the final time with the word finished with their name so the teachers know which is their final project.
