Pulmonary Semilunar Valve

The pulmonary semilunar valve is located between the pulmonary artery and the right ventricle.

The pulmonary semilunar valve has three flaps. When the flaps open deoxygenated blood from the right ventricle flows into the pulmonary artery. Like the other semilunar valve, the PSV allows the blood to flow in only one direction.
