All Day eAuthentication Station
Get on board! ePermits is the electronic permitting system used by Plant Protection and Quarantine (PPQ) to streamline the process and support the President's eGovernment initiative. In order to apply for PPQ permits, online, users must complete a registration process called eAuthentication. As a courtesy to potential permit holders, an eAuthentication Station will be open at the SPNHC 2007 Annual Meeting.

Specify will be conducting 20 minute interviews regarding the Beta version of their new database software. Sign up at Registration to participate.

Teacher Resource Center Tour Science House, Big Back Yard
Join Science Museum of Minnesota staff in the Science House, an innovative Zero Emissions Building located in the museum's Big Back Yard. Hear about the Science House and about the Teacher Resource Center, a place in which teachers can obtain hands-on classroom science materials, engage in consultation with science education experts, and discuss education issues with friends and colleagues.

Ethnobotany Garden Tour, Big Back Yard
The Ethnobotany Gardens, grown from seeds from the Science Museum's ethnobotany collection, feature a traditional three-sisters garden, turtle-effigy herbal medicine garden, and pre-contact Native gardens reconstructed from archaeological data. Tour the space and hear about plans for this year's plantings.
Welcome to the Science Museum of Minnesota, on the banks of the Mississippi River in the heart of downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. Join us to celebrate our institution's 100th Anniversary and the advent of spring. Minnesota is gorgeous in the spring. Bathing suits and moon boots are encouraged.
The theme of this year's conference is Building for the Future: Museums of the 21st Century, with a special focus on capital projects. There will be sessions and a workshop examining these issues. This meeting will also feature plenary talks, a poster session, a trade show, and workshops.
This conference is shaping up to be a fantastic one. In recent years many institutions in the area have undergone major renovations and new construction. You will have the opportunity to visit a number of these premier museums.
Pre-conference field trips will take you to an amazing array of places within a 2 hour radius of the Twin Cities. Minnesota and nature go hand in hand. You will have the opportunity to experience some of the many parks and impressive natural settings.
