Pitch-
the property of a sound and especially a musical tone that is determined
by the frequency of the waves producing it : highness or lowness of sound :
a standard frequency for tuning instruments
Duration-
the time during which something exists or lasts
Timbre-
the quality given to a sound by its overtones or the quality of tone
distinctive of a particular singing voice or musical instrument.
Tone-
a sound of definite pitch and vibration
Sound Wave-
the number of complete oscillations per second of energy (as sound
or electromagnetic radiation) in the form of waves
Oscilation-
VARIATION, FLUCTUATION: a flow of electricity changing periodically
from a maximum to a minimum; especially : a flow periodically changing direction
4 : a single swing (as of an oscillating body) from one extreme limit to the
other
Volume-
the degree of loudness or the intensity of a sound
Symphony Orchestra-
a large orchestra of winds, strings, and percussion that plays symphonic
works
Meter-
the basic recurrent rhythmical
