Dear Students,

My name is Lindsey and I am 6 years old! 
I am studying Monarch butterflies in my first 
grade Brownie troop. I live in Santa Barbara,
California and the butterflies like to come 
to a local eucalyptus grove in February. 

My mom and I looked up your web site while 
doing some research on the butterfly's markings. 
You looked like you had fun with your project. 
We will share what you did with our Brownie Troop
next week. We are going for a guided visit of the 
butterflies in a few weeks. I am looking forward 
to finding 300 butterflies. We will have a picnic 
on the cliffs overlooking the coast. 
It will be lots of fun!
