As we got into the van the heavens opened. Hail stones
the size of golf balls pelted the car. Then a deluge of
water followed. Frankie got very upset. He had wanted
to take a balloon ride over Natick to get an aerial view
but with the rain he couldn't. We went to the store and
bought him the balloon anyway. He felt better by the
time we got home. The balloon had teddy bears on it and
said I love you.

When we got home it was 8:00. A long time past Joe's
bed time and time for teddies to go to bed. We put the
boys in Joe's room to read while we made up a bed for
Frankie. Of course Frankie picked out abook about a hiding
bear called Baby Boo. He climbed up on the rocker and read
peacefully while Chip got Joe into his PJ's and I finished
the bed. We all kissed Joe good night and left. Right across
the hall Frankie slept in a beautiful handmade bed that Joe
slept in when he was small enough to fit in it. Frankie told
Joe he was very honored that Joe let him borrow his bed.
