Frankie and I left the Hosmer School around 2:30.
We had to pick up Joe at 3:30 and it was a 30 minute
ride so we didn't have much time to visit the home
where Over The River And Through The Woods was
written. My Aunt Ruth and Uncle Joe live there with
their family. When we arrived it was very busy so
we didn't have much time to chat. Frankie and I
scooted upstairs to see "THE" window and "THE"
view that inspired the popular poem. Frankie could
not believe the view. He asked me to take a few
pictures so he could remember what it looked like.
He asked if the road was there when the poem was
written. I laughed and reminded him that when the
poem was written people used hoses and sleighs or
carriages to go places.
