"My school has two floors. We have specials. They are
dance, drama, P.E., music, art, and library. We have
two playgrounds, an upper one and a lower one.

April 5, 1997 Portland, Oregon Today, my last day in Portland, was spent at the Washington Park Zoo. The sun was out and it was warm but the animals seemed to want to nap instead of running around. I did see some zebra, elephants, hippos and other animals and birds. I put a zoo key on my bow tie. It is used to hear about the animals. You put the key into a special keyhole and the recording about that animal starts. I was given some postcards by Emily. They are of Portland and the area. -Frankie
