Assignment
Visit Avocado Elementary School pg2
April 11, 1997
I spent the day at Sea World. Mrs. Langford carried me behind the scenes
on the shark tour. Then she bought me my new name tag. Did you know that
26 new sharks have been discovered in the last 10 months? How can that be
you ask? Better robots, able to go deeper down, great cameras. New animals
are being discovered every month. Really exciting to be living in today's
technology age.
Well we just got bad news from the bus driver. No air conditioner. Five
hours away from home and no air! Fifty seven people plus me! Sweaty! Oh
boy, we're going to Cracker Barrel to eat. Kids meals, games, air
conditioner, time to stretch. Life is good!
Frankie
PS- It's now 2AM and I'm just getting to school. Why? The bus had a flat
tire and the tire fell off!! Luckily we slowed down so no one got hurt,
just scared.

Do they like you?
"Everybody welcomed me in the office. They were worried
that I was going to miss the bus for the field trip. I'm
feeling jet lagged now , so I'm glad that I will have time
to sleep before tomorrow's three day trip. The students
want to carry me to the computer lab, so off I go." - Frankie
