Mondays are market day in Angangueo. We walked all around the Plaza that is centrally located in the town. The plaza surrounds a beautiful old church. People come from all around to sell and buy all kinds of things. We saw chickens, fruits, vegetables, pottery, furniture and candy. The market is more for the people who live in Angangueo than the tourists who visit the butterflies. Later in the day they start selling all sorts of monarch souvenirs.
