The design of our course is called Trail of Wonder. First when
you hit the ball you go through some trees or go in a secret path.
The path has a lake on the side of it. After you go through the
trees or path you get to a chicken. The chicken is on blocks, the
blocks have wooden cups all around them. You have a little hole
to go in. After the chicken you have to go over some bumps.
After the bumps you go over a bridge. On the sides of the bridge
there are two lakes.

After the lakes is a street. The street has frogs and a snake in
the middle of the road. It has a tube that you can go in but if you
can get stuck you have to go to start. After the tube there is
little wooden cups sticking out and you tried to get in the hole.
Tried to do B
by
Laura Jandl & Clare Schmidt

We tried to make a golf course. In the golf course we tried to
make a flag that would go up when the ball was hit into the
hole. We tried to make it complicated so you would not be able
to go through it. Sometimes we got frustrated so we just took
that thing off. We tried to make a golf course by doing all our
school work so that we could work extra on our golf course.

Problems
by
Laura Jandl & Clare Schmidt

One of the worst problems we had was when Laura and I
disagreed with each other. We also had to take some stuff off
because it wouldn't work. We had to make a moving part so
Laura and I wanted a flag that went up and down. That didn't
work so we made a tornado and we liked it.

Solved Problems

Laura and I solved the worst problem by not even using what
we were disagreeing about. The stuff that didn't work we
didn't use. The tornado we kept and we liked it.

Materials

All you need to make a golf course is, something to sketch it
on. A large piece of Styrofoam board to do the course on. You
can have some materials like, Paint, cardboard. plastic tube,
toothpicks, blocks, plaster later and stuff you mite find.

Directions

First make a plan on how to get to the hole. Make a lot of
obstacles so it's harder to get to the hole. You do not have
to make a moving part but we did. It is a tornado. Cool huh.
When you make the pits or the lakes you should make them
first when you work on the foam board. Anything you find
makes a good touch, especially frogs and lizards. When you
put on the walls and obstacles you should always put them
on before you do everything else.

When you make the rest of your golf course you need to agree
with your partner. You might be able to work on your own, but
we worked together, and everybody else did too. When you are
done with your golf course you might be able to paint it.
We did.
