Description:

Dinosaurs once roamed the earth, but finding dino fossils would be very hard. On the other hand, you can now make your own fossils out of potting soil and pasta.

What you need

  1. potting soil
  2. white glue
  3. misc. macaroni
  4. zip-lock bag
  5. plastic or paper plate
  6. foam brush
  1. Put the macaroni in the zip-lock bag
  2. Break up the macaroni by stepping on the bag
  3. Using your hands, mix several tablespoon of glue with 1 1/2 cups of potting soil
  4. Continue to add glue until the soil holds together
  5. Then, mold it into a ball
  6. Press out the ball of soil onto the plate
  7. Arrange pieces of macaroni on soil to look like a dinosaur
  8. Press each piece in
  9. Brush a coat of white glue over the entire surface
  10. Let it dry overnight and remove from plate
  11. Voila! You just discovered dinosaur fossil.
