Holiday shopping season has arrived, and the Science Museum's Explore Store is equipped to provide you with unique gifts for everyone on your shopping list.
- Find the 2010 version of the Freshwater Society's Minnesota Weatherguide Environment Calendar, one of the Explore Store's top sellers.
- Take in our selection of microscopes and kaleidoscopes, or explore the 3D Mirascope, which uses mirrored optics to create hologram images that appear to be floating.
- Discover cool gadgets like Hog Wild's Faucet Light, which changes color with the temperature of the water; the Fisher Space Pen, which writes on any surface at any angle and temperature; or the Birdsong Identiflyer, which plays dozens of different birdsongs with the touch of a button; and more.
A portion of the store's proceeds go back to the museum to help fund special programming, educational opportunities, and museum operations.
