Tuesdays are especially for seniors at the Science Museum:

Decipher glyphs, build arches, explore the Maya concept of beauty, step inside a Maya tomb, and more. Discover how we know what we know about the once-hidden ancient Maya culture at the Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed exhibition.

View Mystery of the Maya in the Omnitheater, which takes viewers on a journey back in time with the explorers who unearthed this ancient civilization in the jungles of Central America in the early 19th century.

Discover all 8.5 acres of our fascinating indoor galleries—you'll see artifacts from around the world, play in the Cell Lab, watch a tornado form, and learn about the history and industry of the Mississippi.

Take a coffee break on us. Special package pricing includes a small coffee and bakery item from Java Lab in the museum lobby.

Accessibility

To make visits as easy as possible for visitors with disabilities, the museum is wheelchair accessible, and two sizes of wheelchairs are available free of charge at the Information Booth while you visit the museum. The Omnitheater also has wheelchair and companion seating. Large-print scripts and assistive listening devices are also available upon request.
