Since the research station was founded in 1989, it has sponsored an annual conference, the St. Croix River Research Rendezvous. This forum, held annually the third Tuesday of October, brings together scientists, resource managers, agency staff and the interested public to hear presentations about research plans, projects and findings in the St. Croix watershed.
The Rendezvous is held at the Science Museum's Lee and Rose Warner Nature Center, located on Norell Avenue near Marine on St. Croix, Minnesota.
The 2008 Research Rendezvous will be held on October 21, 2008.
