Blow it Up! Perform experiments that zoom, fizz and pop. What makes a pillow explode or a rocket blast off? Find out in this exciting, safe class.

Stylin' Science: There's a lot of chemistry behind your lip gloss, hand lotion, and bubble bath. Mix up a few creations to take home as you explore the science of beauty.

Spymasters: Hone your powers of observation and problem solving. You'll find that spies and scientists share many techniques. Come learn some secret codes and build some of your own spy equipment, including your own Super Secret Spy Book.

Get Set to Be a Vet: Explore the careers of veterinarians, discover how to take better care of your pets, and make dog treats. Examine real animal X-rays and perform a mock surgery.

Workshop Fees

$15 per child per workshop. Fee includes same day museum admission, a museum teacher, and materials.

Museum exhibit admission for two adults is free for every eight paid scouts. Regular museum admission rates apply to additional adult and sibling exhibit admission. There is no fee for adults or siblings only observing the workshop.

To make a Scout reservation

Workshops are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You will be partnered with other groups to meet the minimum of 5 scouts per workshop. The maximum in a workshop is 25 scouts.

A single payment for the group before the program date is required. Payment by credit card at the time of registration is highly preferred. Checks must be received within five business days from the day the reservation is made. If you must cancel the reservation, you need to do so at least 10 business days prior to the workshop to receive a refund. A $25 cancellation fee will be deducted from your refund. There are no refunds for scouts in your group who do not show up for the workshop.
