Scientist Badge Activities for Webelos

We will complete these requirements for the Academics: Science belt loop*:

• Requirement 1: Explain the scientific method
• Requirement 2: Use the scientific method
• Requirement 3: Visit a museum and talk to a scientist

We will complete these requirements for the Scientist activity badge:

• Requirement 1: Bernoulli's Principle
• Requirement 2: Pascal's Law
• Requirement 3: Newton's first law
• Requirement 4: Earn the Academics: Science belt loop (see above)
• Requirement 5: Show the effects of atmospheric pressure.
• Requirement 6: Show the effects of air pressure.
• Requirement 9: Explain and show how fog works.
• Requirement 10: Explain and make crystals.
• Requirement 11: Explain center of gravity and balance.
• Requirement 12: Show how your eyes and optical illusions work.

*Webelos complete both the belt loop and the activity badge requirements in this workshop.
