Reservation Information
Field trip rates are available for school groups visiting the museum Monday-Friday, and arriving no later than 12:30 p.m. Advance reservations are required for all field trips.
Reservations must be phoned to the museum at (651) 221-9444 or (800) 221-9444. Call early; many dates and time slots fill quickly.
Please have the following information ready before calling to make your reservations:
About Your School
- Preferred date of visit, and a second choice
- School name and address, district name and number
- Approximate number of students and adults
- Arrival and departure time
- Grade level
- Make note of any special needs

Special School Performance Prices
The Science Museum provides significant admission discounts for school groups (pre-school, kindergarten, middle, and high school grades).

Payment is due either in advance by credit card or on the day of the visit with a single check or credit card. Changes may be made prior to payment and no later than two weeks prior to your visit, by calling (651) 221-9444 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Adjustments after that date will be made in the form of vouchers.
Reduced Price Eligibility
Schools with 75% or more of their students approved for free and reduced-price meals (as cited by the Minnesota Department of Education) are eligible for the museum's Reduced Price Program. These schools may visit the museum at a rate of only $3 per student for the Omnitheater film and exhibits or $1 for exhibits only.
Accessibility
The Science Museum of Minnesota welcomes all visitors and is ADA compliant. Tell your reservationist if your group has anyone with special accommodations needs. Sign language interpreters are available with two-week notice. Call (651) 221-9406 or TTY (651) 221-4585 to discuss your access needs.
