What is a watershed? How does the use of surrounding land affect the health of a river? Students will discover the answers to these questions as they explore the important differences in water quality and land use of the Mississippi, St. Croix and Minnesota rivers.
NOTE: All classes give students a chance to work with the same types of live river critters that water quality scientists do!
