AntarcticaHear the story of the world's highest, driest and windiest continent: Antarctica! From its amazing wildlife and distinct physical features to its involvement in modern scientific exploration, our instructors will tell Antarctica's story through the use of stunning photography and large-scale props! Students will discover how humans can harm and protect the global environment.

Program Options: Antarctica is available as either a large group assembly or an in-depth residency.

Residency Option

OPENING ASSEMBLY MAX: 250 students
RESIDENCY CLASS MAX: 30 students

Adding individual classroom sessions to our Antarctica assembly creates a unique Antarctica residency at your school.

GRADE: Class sessions are designed for students in grades K-6.

COST:

$225 per assembly
$115 per class session
Travel fees may apply.

  • Antarctic Animals - Grades K-3
    Discover animals of Antarctica and explore the ways they have adapted to life in Antarctica.
  • Cold, Colder, Coldest - Grades K-3
    Learn how people and animals stay warm on Earth's coldest continent.
  • Oil Spill - Grades 4-6
    See what materials are most effective in cleaning up an oil spill and discover its lasting impact on an ecosystem.
  • Glaciers - Grades 4-6
    Speed through time to observe the formation, movement and changes of glaciers.
