Visit the Science Museum with your preschool-age children between 9:30 a.m. - Noon on Mondays, and take part in a special promotion that will keep little hands busy and little minds buzzing!
With no cost for children under 5, (and regular admission rates for adults) you'll receive:
- Admission to the Science Museum's exhibit galleries, packed with hands-on fun.
- Make & Take creations: Your child will use their imagination to engineer a project we have developed especially for them!
- Special theater programs and demonstrations designed just for preschoolers.
- Parent's guide to preschool activities and accommodations throughout the museum, including an introduction to our Collectors' Corner trading post.
Minnesota Children's Museum members receive the member discount. Please note that this package price does not combine with other offers or discounts; if you'd like to attend an Omnitheater film, you can add one for a small fee.

| 10:00 a.m. - Noon | Make & Takes: Entertaining creations your child will love to make. You and your child can construct and bring home various activities that allow hands-on science learning. |
| 10:00 a.m. - Noon | Collectors' Corner: Bring in a natural object that you have discovered and trade them for others. Learn about rocks, skulls, shells, and more! |
| 10:00 a.m. - Noon | Introduce your child to hands-on scientific thinking and learning. Experiments are designed to help your child observe and understand properties of light, water and wind, with the alternating activities: Light Play, Water Play, and Wind Tunnel. Presented by the Learning Technologies Center. |
| 10:30 a.m. | Science Live Puppets and Plays. Watch special theater programs and demonstrations designed especially for younger children that will educate and entertain them. Pick up a schedule at the box office for other performances throughout the day. |
| 11:30 a.m. | Storytime with a Ranger in the Mississippi River Visitor's Center, located in the museum's lobby. Listen as tales of nature leap off the pages of a book read by a real park ranger. (Please check with the Center for activities available to your child throughout the morning.) |
