Collectors' Corner Neighborhood Trading PlaceAt the Collectors' Corner Neighborhood Trading Place, kids of all ages can bring in natural objects and/or a journal entry, photograph, rubbings or drawings of the object, share what they know about the object with a staff person or a volunteer and earn points. Traders spend points on trading post items or save them for later. Learn More Idea CooperativeIDEA Coop members are middle and high school youth who work on design projects for their peers and the community. Youth work after-school and in the summer at Saint Paul College and Science Museum of Minnesota, and build technology, engineering, and job skills through the projects they do. Learn More Summer Classes at your Community ProgramThe Science Museum can bring our fun, hands-on science classes for children 6-12 to your site the summer of 2012. Our staff can be at your site on a week-by-week basis, June 18 through August 24, 2012. Program length can be:
Choose either a four or five day sequence, mornings or afternoons or both to fit your programming needs. Class prices include the instructor, all the materials and equipment for the class. Class size up to 14 students with one instructor, up to 20 students with 2 instructors. Your organization provides a room with a sink, tile floor, tables and chairs and electricity. We add new subjects each summer. Subject areas include biology, physical science, chemistry, and engineering.
