Mummies: Secrets of the PharaohsFour decades before Howard Carter discovered King Tut, 40 royal mummies, including 12 Kings of Egypt, were discovered in a single tomb. Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs sheds light on this and other extraordinary revelations about the fascinating subject of mummies and the mysterious process of mummification.

You'll learn about contemporary Egyptologist Dr. Bob Brier who performed the first human mummification in the Egyptian style since the pharaohs, in order to test the ability to extract DNA from ancient mummies. You'll also discover how scientists hope to use the DNA of mummies to cure diseases that exist today. Mummies: Secrets of the Pharaohs brings you an engaging and enlightening look into the realm of death after life.
