1. Each Aguilar sister has a very distinct style.
Even though the sisters are often lumped together, each one works out of her own family studio, and has different techniques and styles. For example, Concepción Aguilar Alcántara, pictured here, is the only sister who consistently paints her own work, and she is known for her very detailed painting style.
