Basic Memberships
Educators: Join our Educator Club and receive discounts on memberships and other educator-only benefits. Limited Income Tickets and Memberships available. See if you qualify and discover your options here. Liked What You Saw? You can apply a portion of your Omnitheater ticket price from your recent visit toward the cost of a membership. Call (651) 221-9444 within two weeks of your date of purchase for more information. Non-profit organizations: Our membership program is structured for family units. If you are interested in receiving reduced ticket prices for your non-profit organization, please visit our discounts page for more information on the Great Partners. Nannies, childcare workers, and personal care attendants: Members may sign up for a "nanny card" that allows discounted admission when a nanny, childcare worker, or personal care attendant accompanies members' children to the museum. Call (651) 221-9409 or email to receive a nanny card. Basic membership tax deductibility: Your Household or Dual membership gift is generally tax deductible. Curie SocietyCurie Society Members are leaders in the community who are passionate about science education and part of an exclusive group who support the museum with an annual gift of $2,500 or more. Supporting Member Tax-DeductibilityThe amount of your contribution that is deductible for federal income tax purposes is limited to the amount of your gift, less the value of certain membership benefits you are entitled to receive. The Science Museum of Minnesota estimates the value of those benefits as follows:
The full amount of your contribution is tax-deductible if you have notified the Development Office at the Science Museum in writing that you do not wish to receive member benefits. |
