One of the highlights of the Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science exhibition is a display that brings visitors face-to-face with a real Egyptian mummy. They'll learn the story of who this person was, based on forensic evidence.

Lost Egypt visitors work together to move a block and discover the scale of the stones used to build the pyramids. This activity invites them to experiment with the ancient Egyptian engineering and technologies that may have been used to move them.

The Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science exhibition encourages visitors of all ages to step into the role of archaeologist for a day. Here, visitors piece together three- dimensional pottery puzzles, much like real archaeologists reconstruct an object from broken pieces.

Visitors to the Lost Egypt: Ancient Secrets, Modern Science exhibit build a tabletop pyramid with specially-shaped wooden blocks to understand some of the architectural and engineering challenges the ancient Egyptians overcame.
