Amusement Arcade Camp
August 27, 2007 - 8am. Ages 9-13. Taught by Adrienne Gifford, Aaron Pierson, Learning Technologies Staff.
Investigate the world of arcade games. Design your own interactive computer game using Scratch software from the MIT Media Lab. Create a story, environment, and characters, then add digital spinners and touch pads to control your game. Sharpen your carpentry skills by making your own tabletop pinball machine. Explore the dynamics of action/reaction to send the ball whizzing around the board.
