Scratch Family Camp-In

First annual Scratch overnight!

What: Come and join us for a family night of Scratch!
Scratch is a fun programming software that enables you to create your own video games, animations, and interactive stories. Scratch is a free multimedia programming software from MIT Media Lab that uses easy to understand visual programming language for ages 6 and up. Scratch can be used with a WeDo or Pico Board, so you can build a dance pad, steering wheel game controller, or music instrument that works with your program! Sign up online now!

 

  • 3 hours of amazing Scratch workshops with great content for all experience levels.

  • Scratch software, computer games, animations, and interactive stories which you program and can take home with you. -Handmade game controllers or music instruments.
  • A midnight show and tell where you can play your game or animation on the big screen!
  • Admission to the museum’s exhibit halls
  • Pizza dinner, late-night snack, and continental breakfast the following morning.
  • An overnight stay in selected museum exhibit halls.

 

When: December 12th – December 13th 2009

The Camp-In begins at 2:00 PM on Saturday the 12th and concludes at 8:00AM on Sunday the 13th.
